Ep. 179 – Why are Boundaries so Hard? (Part 2) – Tough Topic Series
with Dr. Barbara

Precious and Beloved Friend,
Why am I stuck in these cycles? Last week on the Whole Life Podcast, we opened the conversation of the process of setting boundaries. Today, we start to look at the impact of trauma on our boundaries. As you scroll back in time, there lurks a time where a relational trauma made it increasingly difficult to set and keep boundaries. I take you back to those relational traumas to begin your healing from within.
Externally, you set boundaries verbally and non-verbally. Internally, the felt sense tells you what boundaries you should set. When you’ve been through a childhood trauma, it becomes skewed. A boundary rupture leads to allowing dysfunctional relational patterns, feelings of over-giving to others, and a loss of your voice.
You perceive trauma through your five senses and your spiritual sense. I teach you today to begin healing each of those senses where your trauma started. Relationships are built on trust, walking in trust starts with setting successful boundaries. Listen until the end of today’s podcast as a lead a healing activation to repair a boundary rupture you’ve faced.
